Woodworking runs in the family - no, really!

Joseph Allcroft Sr., Matt's dad, was a highly skilled carpenter and passed on much of his vast amount of knowledge to his son.

Matt pursued a different career path, but spent plenty of his off-days making use of the skills his dad taught him to build decks, fences, and teach his own kids important skills which would pay off years later with the formation of Laughing Boys Woodshop.

At Laughing Boys Woodshop, we have a passion for creation, learning new skills, and honing ones we already possess! There's no project you could bring us that we wouldn't want to take a crack at or any style we wouldn't try to match.

Our customers know it best - big or small, we can do it all!

Where We Are

Our shop is based in Hamilton, and we are happy to provide our services and product delivery for most of Southern Ontario. If you are from outside of Southern Ontario and are interested in our products, please reach out and we can provide you with some options for third party delivery. 

All of our wood is sourced from trusted local businesses. We strive to provide our customers with high quality wood pieces which will last a lifetime!

Lead time estimates will depend on current project load and are subject to change. If you require a piece on a deadline, let us know and we will try to work with you and your unique situation to provide a quality product in a timely manner.
